The art process: “Expect the Unexpected” was a collage I came across from 2020. I came across a lot of old art that I found intriguing today and never posted. This one wasn’t one of them. It was just a typical, boring collage, but for some reason, I was drawn to it, even more then the one from 01.31.23 which I knew needed embellished, and I had my heart set on doing. I finally found it! I do have some special portfolios and file organizers I bought to help me organize my art better. I’m thinking that organizing by dates will be easier for me than organizing by title since I don’t always title them.
I’m not sure I’m 100% happy with, “It’s Raining Joy!” Perhaps there needs to be something brighter where the black lines in the circles are. It doesn’t pop as much as I want it to when I look at it from a distance. I do like it, but I wonder if it could be better?

I should have taken a before photo of the collage that I started with in “The unexpected.” I’m not sure I had ever scanned it. Perhaps God was drawing me to it. I’m really pleased with it. For some reason, the phrase, “Expect the Unexpected,” just popped in my mind over and over again as I was adding the embellishments, so I added this phrase in script.
Prophetic word: I think this is something God is speaking right now, “Expect the Unexpected! Anything can happen!” I was thinking about the Asbury revival and how God is just pouring down on us right now! I think this is just the beginning of the revival fires, which will spread like wildfire! The time is ripe! The time is NOW! The bowls of our prayers in heaven have been tipped over! It’s time for answered prayers! It’s time for God’s promises to manifest! I saw 2 doors of opportunity show up in the art! It’s time for adventure! It’s time for joy! I guess the second image goes, too! God is raining joy on us!! He’s removing the things that have hindered us and kept us in bondage! We are going to experience a new level of freedom, joy, and peace like we have not known before! Are you ready?
Amen and amen! Yes, so ready!
