Catch up post: Emotional Landscape art from the past month.

Emotional Landscape art is just the art I make to help me relieve stress, and just because sometimes I need a little art expression without a big commitment to a larger or more developed piece. Sometimes, these will be started as example art to teach a technique at work or made if the group has only 5 people or less; therefore, I have time to attend to everyone and make art. Usually, it will inspire others and get them in a creative flow, but its not possible with a larger group. These all started spontaneously. Sometimes, I will continue working and adding more details to create a finished work, and sometimes I will simply use it as collage fodder. I’m considering selling the collage fodder at my future Etsy shop, but I’m a little confused as to what type of art should be released to others to make art; when the line gets crossed from just basic designs to too personal or unique to me to release. I think I have to study this. I’m the type of person that will turn even an elaborate work of art into collage fodder just because I have so much of it, and once I get a good scan the original is still available as a print.

Art from 02.10.23, 02.08.23, and Royal Priesthood in this series of artwork in the past month look like they could be works of art whereas the rest maybe just collage fodder. 02.16.23 looks pretty cool, too, though, so that one is debatable. It could go both ways. All of them really could be both. I really made all of it to be collage fodder. It’s just that sometimes I get carried away or inspired. I’m not sure where the line is crossed, especially when it comes to possibly selling it in my etsy shop for others to make art out of the pieces. Any advice on this would be welcomed. The one from 2.10.23 is my favorite out of this bunch.

I usually make too many artworks to title all of it, but sometimes a title emerges or an artwork really speaks to me. That is why I usually title it with the date. The artwork will then tell the story of my psychological landscape over time, which is why I call this kind of artwork, “Emotional Landscape art.” The amount of art I have is just insane!! Some are just pieces that could be turned into interesting works of art if I just went back and revisted them. In my lifetime, I have probably produced well over 1000 pieces of artwork. I guess my average is 1-3 per week.
