God wants to purge us of old mindsets, baggage, and demonic oppression, which is keeping us from crossing over into our promised land. Although God has been addressing our issues with us for a long time, He needs to accelerate this process for the new time we are walking into. God wants to clean the house (the church body); do a clean sweep. God says, “Enough is Enough. You have been held hostage by your mindsets, beliefs, and afflictions long enough! It’s time to get set free!!” It’s time to get set free from whatever is keeping you in bondage and holding you back from moving forward into God’s purposes; into your promised land. God wants us to examine our lives through His lens and began purging what we don’t need: physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. There has been too much clutter in our lives which has led to chaos and disarray, and unnecessary suffering. It’s time to purge and lighten our load.
God wants us to literally, as well as figuratively, clear the clutter in our lives. We’ve held on to so much junk: things, fears, and beliefs that serve no good purpose in our life. While with other things, they may have served a purpose in the past, but now are only hindrances. These unnecessary things have bogged us down and created chaos and turmoil. It’s robbed us of our energy and our peace. It’s taken up too much space and limited what God is able to release to us. We are in a new season and even a new era. God wants to do new things with us.
I saw a movie recently where a man inherits the home of his mother who passed away, but he hadn’t seen his mother for years due to unhealed hurts. When he arrives at the house, he discovers it is filled with junk. His mother was a hoarder! Step by step, he cleans the home and sweeps it out in stages. He processes his past hurts, forgives, and makes a fresh new start where he is rebuilding his life and making more room for love. God showed me that this movie is a prophetic illustration for the time we are in. Specifically, God really zoomed in on the part of the movie where the character is sweeping the house and the clearing out the clutter. God etched out that image in my mind. It didn’t happen all at once, but in stages. It seemed overwhelming, yet little by little, the clutter was cleared out, and the place was made new, clean, and in order again. It’s time for us to clean house, and establish a new, simpler order, where God is first; where we’re willing to let go of what we don’t need or whatever God asks us to let go of, and follow Him, unfettered with all our baggage. God would like us to travel light and trust Him for the day to day manna. Know that everything belongs to God, and you are just stewarding what He gives you for as long as He wants, then you are to let it go when He asks, trusting that He will provide the new things that you need. In this way, nothing will become an obstacle for you to serve the Lord.
God wants us to be able to “go” when He says “go” and not be bogged down with all our issues, fears, and insecurities. He needs “all hands on deck.” Too many of us have become distracted and out of allignment. We have a job to do. We each need to do our part. He wants to overhaul not only our individual lives and families, but our churches, cities, and nation. He wants to restore order and take us back to our (healthy) roots, to our original foundation, the way He designed us to be; the way he intended us, our cities, and nations to be. Any root not of God He will pluck put. This is a time to pull up, tear down, plant, and rebuild- according to God’s design!
He wants to restore our foundations.
God may allow our issues to be stirred up so that we can deal with it once and for all. If it’s rejection, don’t be surprised if you find yourself dealing with what feels like rejecting circumstances. If it’s abandonment you might find yourself in situations which lead you to feeling abandoned. I suspect it will be small-scale things that will expose your issue, which needs to be addressed; the root of the problem, which has most likely led to more large-scale problems for you in your life. Your job is to let God show you and submit to the healing and deliverance process however God wants to do it. The purpose is not for you to suffer, but for you to face this giant head on and defeat it once and for all. Trust God in this process. It may feel scary to face your giants, but know that you do it in God’s strength and not your own. You are not alone in this. God promises to give you victory. It’s time for you to be set free.
Trust God to be your provider. Look only to God for your approval; do not look to man. Please God over pleasing man. Let God be your comfort. Let God be your companion. Let God be your audience. You only need Him. Your sole purpose is to please Him and do His will at whatever cost. Whether you see it in this lifetime or not, know that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. You will be rewarded for your faithfulness. God will grant you joy and your hearts desires when you are in alignment with Him.
Humility will be one key to walking in victory in this new season. Be open to God’s correction. Do not take offense when He shows you something you need to work on. This is how we grow and mature. This is how we grow in our capacity to love and be more Christ-like. Love will take center stage as God pours out his mercy, kindness, generosity, healing, and deliverance in this new season. He wants you to know Him, to see how good He is. He wants to expand your capacity to receive His love, trust in His good nature, and in turn pour out His love to others. Will you say yes to all God wants to do in you and through you?

28“Look,” said Peter, “we have left all we hadd to follow You.” 29“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God 30will fail to receive many times more in this age—and in the age to come, eternal life.” (Luke 18:22-30, NIV)

Cassandra, I was directed to your blog this morning from another blog from someone named Amber. When I clicked the about for her, there was an error, then I found myself reading your about page. By the time I reached the bottom of the page, I found the same verse, the same Jesus read when his work started, from Isaiah. To set the captives free. So here I am sister. I have few dreams and visions, but one came to me Jan 1-3, 2019 which arrived on a whiteboard and I was instructed to explain it to His body in the coming years. Explain it in simple terms, like a child would understand, with illustrations, music and lyrics. When I found you this morning, your prophetic artwork, I am glad because perhaps now I can receive inspiration on how to represent the picture of what I was given. We are all going back to our roots, the foundations of our faith, back to the future. Peace & Grace, Tony

Amen, Tony. I am so glad that God led you here. God works in mysterious ways and in perfect timing! Yes, that is our mandate, found in Isaiah. God will show you exactly what to do and how to do it. He will lead you step by step. Your gifts will make room for itself. I declare, in the name of Jesus, that God’s perfect and pleasing will be made manifest in your life, and that no weapon formed again, you will prosper. I speak blessing and favor over you in all your endeavors and good health. I declare that God will reveal Himself to you in even deeper ways and deeper revelation of his divine love over you. I speak these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.
