This has been vital to me, and the missing piece needed for my breakthroughs.
This is a game changer!!! I mean that! These truths will totally change your life!!
I am going to link the videos to this series on the courts of heaven in this post. Today’s teaching will be in the middle and the other teachings leading up to this will be at the end.
Whatever has cursed you or your family or held you back is because Satan has a legal reason to bring charges against you which result in punishment and bondage. Even if you have repented and asked forgiveness for the sins, there still could be an agreement or covenant you made or someone else made which gave Satan legal permission and rights to harm you or a loved one. Satan can charge and accuse you if you are not present in court to defend yourself.
There is a court process in heaven where we can plead our cases. Jesus is our legal representative to advocate for us and the Holy Spirit is our comforter. Jesus advocates on our behalf for the forgiveness of sins.
Please note that you do not need to go through this court process and be spiritually present to receive forgiveness of sins. Just simply repenting with a sincere heart and asking for forgiveness along with the intent to not sin is enough, and inviting Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior, believing also that he sent Jesus to die on the cross as atonement for your sins, and he rose again on the 3rd day and defeated all the works of darkness. Jesus blood is enough. Jesus will advocate for you and your sins will be forgiven. This is all that’s required to assure your salvation. Your sins will be forgiven and not be held against you once you have repented and asked God to forgive you. You can then spend eternity in heaven, and you become a son or daughter of God with assess to the Holy Spirit and authority over evil spirits, with all the rights and privileges that go along with belonging to the royal priesthood.
However, Satan, may have a legal reason to keep you in bondage, harass you, or curse you. Most likely its because of a hidden, unrepented sin and/or some agreement you made unknowingly with the enemy. The sin you’re confessing and the agreement you made that is holding you back can be two separate things, but an agreement with Satan is also a sin. If you agree with Satan’s lies then you give him permission to sow destruction with that agreement. For instance if he tells you that you are unworthy and don’t deserve anything, and you agree, then you give Satan license to hurt you in that area. You could be muttering something to yourself along these lines. Another example would be pornography. If you watch it you are in agreement with sexual demons and are unknowingly giving permission to get posessed by sexual demons. You are also in agreement with sexual exploitation, sexualization of humans at the expense of their well being, and possibly even their abuse. Another example would be consulting astrologers or fortune tellers since God says clearly in the Bible not to consult astrologers are divinaters. You would then be in agreement with these evil spirits and place yourself in bondage.
When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so. (Deuteronomy 18:9-14)
You can be saved and enslaved to a demon at the same time. You can watch a video about this here, “Can Christians have Demons?” from my good friend, Corinna Craft. Also, if you are associating with others actively engaging in sin in your presence and you turn a blind eye to it, then you are in agreement with that sin and complicit. You become an accomplice, just like a friend who is with someone when they murder someone also gets charged if they did nothing to stop the murder. You can unknowingly make covenants with the devil as well. An example would be that you get hurt in marriage and vow to never get married again. You can also speak curses or over yourself or someone else unknowingly and/or by making declarations out of fear and anger. Some examples would be, “Dont buy that gun, someone could get shot.” If you dont start doing your homework and studying you’re going to fail.” “If you dont stop eating so much sweets and junk food you’re going to have a heart attack.” Your words have power. I learned the hard way, especially as a prophetic person, not to announce my fears or the potential bad things that could happen as a result of current reality.
The devil is really crafty in his deception and most likely you are unaware that you are in bondage to sin or to these agreements. Slowly it is sucking the life out of you and progressively leading you down darker paths which lead to darker thoughts, darker actions, more distance from God. It’s purpose is to keep you from living in freedom, abundance, and the destiny God has for you. If it becomes bad enough you may realize you’re in bondage through poverty, addiction, poor health, torment, depression, compulsive lying, stealing, or violence, or any number of other enslavements and it might feel impossible to get out of it. The further away you are from God the less likely you are to hear His His voice or feel His presence which could lead to a sense of hopelessness. But just know that its not too late to reach out to God, repent, and ask Him to forgive you, cleanse you, and free you. That’s why He sent Jesus. No sin is too bad to receive forgiveness from (except blasphemy) if the heart is sincere in repenting, and no sin will actually keep God from loving you. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. (Romans 8:31-39). If you’re worried about it you haven’t committed blasphemy, because doing so hardens your heart to the point that you don’t care and are not worried about it. Nothing is too hard for God to accomplish or for God to free you from. The blood that Jesus shed on the cross was enough to free you from whatever bondage or curse you’re facing.
However, family members past and present as well as friends, acquaintances, or even strangers could have also made agreements or covenants or placed curses on you or your family that you know nothing about. For all these reasons it is necessary to enter the courts of heaven.
You can ask God to reveal to you any of these hidden agreements, contracts, or covenants so you can break its power and bondage over you and renounce any agreements or covenants you or someone else made with the enemy.
There are many different types of courts. Today Pastor Ray taught us about the courts of mercy.

This video, in particular, will teach you how to go about the process to petition for yourself, your loved ones, city, or your nation to receive favor, mercy, and forgiveness so that you are on track to receive the full blessings and destiny God has for you without any blockages or setbacks.
Then, after the teaching, Pastor Ray invited us to the podium to practice and illustrate this process.
I knew this was my moment! I knew I just had to get up there. I have been contending for healing and deliverance for myself and my family for a long, long, time!! It has felt like we have been subject to heavy oppression, curses, chaos, and torment from the very beginning. I suspected my family’s sins as well as my own, and my children’s and grandchildren’s sin was the reason. I have repented for myself and my family multiple times and broke agreements and covenants, but I never really knew much about this process with the courts of heaven, and I’m not sure I went about it the right way.
This was an opportunity to confess my sins and my family’s sins, ask for mercy, receive forgiveness, and have the curses, blockages, and oppression/torment removed!!! Even though it required me to humble myself and be transparent in front of everyone, I didn’t want to lose this opportunity. I could have done it privately, but I thought it would be much more powerful to do it in front of all these witnesses of the church and you. I am so so serious about getting myself and my family free. I will do what God asks of me; whatever it takes! I have been humbled my whole life by life’s circumstances. The one good thing about being humbled or suffering hardship or oppression is that it allows you to crucify your flesh and become more like Jesus, and thus live by the Spirit and the supernatural. If you want to live in the supernatural you must consent to allowing yourself to be humbled and having your flesh crucified. We all have sin which gets in our way! To the degree we can submit to this process is the degree God can flow in us. Do you want more of Him? Well, there must be less of yourself!
The books of heaven and the books of hell will be opened which documents all or sins and trespasses in Satan’s book as well as all our acts of righteousness and faith in God’s books.
Satan will bring his charges against you, then Jesus will advocate for you. This will be done in the presence of many angels who act as witnesses and possibly even deceased people in heaven who knew you. You will also be expected to speak and answer the charges. You can confess your sins or your family’s sins, or the sins of someone you’re petitioning for; repent; plead the blood of Jesus over the sins; renounce any agreements or covenants you or someone else made concerning you, your family, loved one, or the person you’re petitioning for; then confess the truth and promises that God has written; as well as your intention not to recommit the same sin.
